I love shooting near sunset because it’s simply the best lighting of the day! The soft, golden light during what’s known as "golden hour" creates warm, flattering tones and beautiful, natural shadows, which add depth to your photos. There are few exceptions to this rule, but if you need a different time, we can chat about the possibilities and see if it’s something that can work for your session.

I even offer a client closet full of carefully selected kids' clothing options that you can use for your session. You’ll also receive a full style guide with outfit suggestions, and we can discuss your wardrobe choices through text or even set up a Zoom call to ensure everything fits perfectly with the style of your session.

I typically shoot on private properties, at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, and in a few select city/downtown areas. However, I’m always open to exploring new locations and traveling for your session. If you have a special spot in mind, we can discuss the details and see if it’s a good fit for both of us.
